Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules.
Volleyball was invented by William Morgan in 1895. The first volleyball association in Nigeria was formed at Methodist Boys High School, Broad Street, Lagos in 1964 and was known as the Amateur. The Nigerian Amateur Volleyball Association was formed in 1969.
