Contentment is seen as a feeling of happiness and satisfaction with whatever one has. A person who is contented may be neither rich nor poor, but he is at peace with his fellow human beings and also with his environment. A contented individual is not involved in gossip, envy, theft and jealousy. He/she does not feel interior to other people. Contentment leads to being hard working; those who are contented do not experience tension. They do not get involved in fights because they are happy with what they have. Contentment promotes tolerance and understanding in the community. It encourages co-operation, leads to humility, and eliminates prides and arrogance. A community of contented people will be peaceful and progressive. The people will be able to think creatively and then develop their community.
